《圣经文学选读》为“求知”高等学校英语专业系列教材之一。《圣经文学选读》选择圣经在现代生活中最有生命力的部分，编排成十六个单元，每～单元供一次授课使用（90分钟），全书供一学期使用。在每一单元圣经引文之后均提供涉及圣经的西方文学作品引文和相关的文化或艺术主题方面的材料，并配有电子课件以帮助授课教师讲解圣经和其对西方文学文化的影响。《圣经文学选读》既可供英语专业学生使用，又可作为英语中高级读物，供具有一定基础的英语自学者和英语爱好者使用。
