徐美锡，现为韩国京畿道富川市古康小学老师。2003年毕业于京仁教育大学研究生院小学英语教育系，获硕士学位。2004年被选拔为教员长期海外留学生，2006年至2007年间在美国康涅狄格州内的10余家小学担任交换老师，2007年在中康涅狄格州立大学 （Central Connecticut State University）完成了TESOL课程，并取得了成人ESL教师资格证。
