《六祖坛经》是佛教禅宗的重要经典，由六祖慧能大师在韶州大梵寺施法坛经时所说。宗宝本是由元代僧人宗宝在至元二十八年（1291年）编纂而成的版本，题为《六祖大师法宝坛经》。宗宝本将三种不同的《坛经》版本进行校对和整合，形成了一个较为完整的版本，并且在其中增加了惠能与弟子之间的问答内容。宗宝本因其语言流畅、品目齐整而广受欢迎，成为明代以后流传最广的版本之一。
