陈卫东，1987年在英国获英语教学法硕士，北京语言大学出国留学人员培训部副教授，一直担任雅思写作教学工作。发表多篇与雅思考试有关的论文，著有《IELTS考试技能训练教程·阅读》(合著)、《IELTS应试指南》等。
