涟漪

我和妈妈坐在湖边

用柳枝给风梳头

月亮在天空看

一不留神掉进水里

没有扑通声

小鱼还是吓跑了

湖面

就有了好大一个涟漪

A Ripple of Waves

I sit on the riverbank with mum

Brushing hair for the wind with a willow branch

The moon watches us from the sky

Accidentally it slips into the water

Making no noise

But scaring the fish away

On the surface of the lake

Comes a ripple of waves

星星眨眼睛

星星一直躲在天上

星星天黑了才肯出来

星星眨眼睛

是叫我别说话

他们正在听月亮讲故事

Blinking Stars

The stars hide themselves in the sky

And come out after sunset

Blinking their eyes

And asking me to shut up

So they can hear the stories told by the moon

The galaxy sets passwords in the middle of no where

Each star

钓鱼的叔叔

不知道为什么

塘里的鱼胆子很小

我扔鱼食，它们不敢过来吃

问旁边钓鱼的叔叔

他们笑着说

等一等

还是会有胆大的

The Fisherman

I don’t know why

The fish are so scared

That they won’t come for the bait I give

I ask the fishermen why

They laugh and say

You need to wait for

A daring fish

Accidentally

I push the antique vase off the shelf

Dad rushes in

And sits there, broken-hearted

With a trembling voice he says

My baby

You broke the Song Dynasty I’d preserved

Which is my baby too
