董强，苏州大学历史学博士、教授，长期从事中国传统文化研究与教学工作。目前已编著有各类图书9本，其中译著2本，合著1本，参编6本。已发表学术论文数十篇（国家核心期刊6篇，省级期刊30篇）。参与过各类科研基金项目6项，其中教育部人文社会科学基金项目1项，江苏省人文社科基金项目1项，浙江省人文社科基金项目1项，苏州市人文社科基金项目3项。

　　《中国民俗文化丛书·民居（英汉对照）》系统介绍了中国具有代表性的14种民居，如黄土高原的陕北窑洞、燕赵平原的四合院、四水归堂的徽州民居、巨大火炕的朝鲜族民居等，有着典型的地域性特点和鲜明的民族特色，以期展现中国民居文化源远流长的历史与发展脉络。
