    《英语学习悦读系列·英语迷津：相似词语辨析（第2版）》收集了332组常见的英语相似词语，先指出其异同和易于混淆之处，然后说明其含义和用法。每组词语附有适当的例句，以便读者比较和参考。
    本书的一大特点是：通过一对词语的比较以说明其他同一类型的相似词句。例如，通过at table和at the table的比较， 说明go to school和go to the school的区别;通过drink和drinking的对比，说明smoke和smoking的差异；通过hear和listen的辨异，说明see和look的关系；通过hear和hear of的对照，说明know和know of的差别；通过few和a few，说明little和a little……使读者在阅读了一组例句的比较之后，可以触类旁通，由此及彼地联想到其他类似词语的关系和区别。因此，本书虽然列举了332组相似词句，实质上它们却代表了成千上万对与之具有类似差别的词语。
