《大学英语阅读教程》系列教材共分三册，根据教育部《大学英语课程教学要求（试行）》编写，将阅读技巧讲解与阅读实践有机结合，供各类高校非英语专业学生和有一定基础的英语学习者使用。本教材具有以下特色：
　　    1.阅读技巧实用：一、二册每单元设有“阅读技能讲座”，详细介绍各种阅读技巧，循序渐进地提高学习者的英语阅读能力。
　　    2.文章选材广泛：每册12单元，每单元4篇文章，围绕同一主题展开；精心挑选的文章有助于增强学习者的兴趣及其对英语国家的了解。
