钟书能，男，1965年生于福建武平县。先后在福建师范大学、哈尔滨工业大学、广东外语外贸大学攻读学士、硕士和博士学位。现为文学博士、英语教授，担任广东外语艺术职业学院外语系主任和中山大学英语硕士研究生导师。2004年入选广东省高等学校“千百十人才”工程。1997年以来，在《中国翻译》、《外国语》、《外语界》、《外语教学》、《外语与外语教学》等外语类核心期刊上发表学术论文26篇。主编、参编专著、教材7部。研究方向：翻译研究，二语习得和认知语言学。
