Assistant： Can you put it on the scales for me？
John： Certainly。
Assistant： Do you want it to go by air or sea？
John： What’s the difference？
Assistant： By air it’s ￡2.00 and by sea it’s ￡1.25。 It will get there in five days by air， but can take up to three weeks by sea。
Assistant： OK， now it was ten stamps you wanted， wasn’t it？ First or second class？
John： First， please。
Assistant： There you go，￡4.90，please。（John hands over a five pound note。）
