罗选民，清华大学外语系教授，人文学院学术委员会委员，翻译与跨学科研究中心主任，博士生导师。著译有《话语分析的英汉语比较研究》、《外国文学翻译在中国》、《沈宝基诗集》、《艺术与诗中的创造性直觉》等10余部。发表学术论文60余篇，散见于《外国文学评论》、《外语教学与研究》、《中国比较文学》、《中国翻译》，Tamkang Review，Perspectives，Meta等国内外重要学刊。

　　《英美文学赏析教程》以文体为主线，打破了传统按国别与作家编排的模式，提供散文、诗歌、小说、戏剧等文体，覆盖了代表性作家的经典作品。《小说与戏剧》分册重点介绍小说与戏剧两大文体，共20个单元。每一单元均由文体导读、经典代表作品选读、注释、练习、选文语篇分析、推荐阅读书目六大部分组成。导读提纲挈领，选读作品涵盖英美，注释详细贴切，练习结合紧密、可操作性强，推荐书目可扩大学生眼界。这本书既有利于教师系统讲解，同时也方便学生自学。
