魏后凯，男，汉族，湖南衡南人。国家监察委员会第二届特约监察员、中国社会科学院农村发展研究所所长、研究员，中国社会科学院大学（研究生院）特聘教授、博士生导师。兼任中国社会科学院城乡发展一体化智库常务副理事长，中国农村发展学会、中国林牧渔业经济学会会长，中国区域科学协会理事长，中国区域经济学会、中国城市经济学会副会长，第十三、十四届全国人大代表、农业与农村委员会委员，国务院学位委员会第八届学科评议组（农林经济管理组）成员，中央农办、农业农村部乡村振兴专家咨询委员会委员，北京市、山西省、广东省等决策咨询委员，中国城市经济学会副会长。
