美学研究是文学研究和哲学研究的重要组成部分，为国内外学术界所重视。《中国美学研究》由华东师范大学中文系主办，以研究中国美学为主，兼及心理美学、西方美学等著译的学术作品集。
本书学术内容丰富，涉及美学史、美学理论、美学与现实生活及人生等各大研究领域，包含中国美学、西方美学、审美意识、审美心理、艺术美学、实践美学、美学译文和书评等板块，旨在立足学术前沿，以现代眼光和方法探讨中国美学的各种问题，拓展和丰富美学研究的内容，开展学术讨论。
