耿玉芳，玉林师范学院外国语学院英语系主任，毕业于泰国黎府皇家大学教育管理专业，博士，主要从事英语教育教学，教育管理等领域的研究，近年来参与完成广西哲学社会科学规划项目两项，广西高校中青年教师科研基础能力提升项目一项，发表论文十余篇，参编教材一部。

本书属于高校人力资源管理方面的著作，主要研究的是高校专任教师留任的影响因素，包括“双—流”建设背景下高校人力资源管理研究的必要性和重要性，主流离职模型以及这些模型在各个不同领域的实证研究，教师满意度、组织承诺、工作嵌入度的内涵及在高等教育领域的研究，基于上述研究所构建的结构方程以及实证数据对该结构方程的验证。全书以高校专任教师为研究对象，整合了劳动经济学、组织行为学、管理学等多个不同学科的理论和背景知识，为研究教师流留任带来了新的视角和框架，丰富了对教育现象的探索。
