This study has examined factors influencing small and medium-sized enterprises' performance with the mediating effect of organizational citizenship behavior in Jilin Province of China. Its purpose is to motivate and improve small and medium-sized enterprises' performance. The examined motivational factors were collective distributive justice, procedural justice, interactional justice, idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration, surface emotion acting, deep emotion acting and true emotion acting, knowledge acquisition, knowledge distribution and knowledge interpretation. Organizational citizenship behavior was included in the framework as the mediating variable. This study uses cross-sectional survey to verify the theoretical framework. The survey data used in this empirical study were collected from 251 employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (that is, the employees of small and medium-sized enterprises in Jilin Province as the main research objects). Then, it gave the measurement of distributive justice, procedural justice, interactional justice, idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration, surface emotion acting, deep emotion acting and true emotion acting, knowledge acquisition, knowledge distribution and knowledge interpretation on the organizational performance and organizational citizenship behavior using principal component analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were constructs. Through testing the structural validity of each factor, the main conclusions of this study were drawn.
