本书重点探讨我国国内移民的适应状况并研究社交媒体对我国国内移民适应的影响机理。本书主要分为三部分：首先系统梳理了社会学、传播学等领域的相关理论以及国内外关于移民适应的研究成果，提出了一个国内移民适应状况及其影响因素的假设模型，重点探讨国内移民的社交媒体使用影响其地域适应的路径。其次，选取上海国内移民作为研究对象，通过结构方程模型对假设模型进行了实证检验。最后，对研究结果进行了讨论，提出了促进国内移民适应的策略以及利用社交媒体助力国内移民适应的建议。
