张金柱，黑龙江工程学院 汽车与交通工程学院，分党委书记，教授，作者自1983年起一直从事汽车工程方面的教学与科研工作。先后承担汽车专业英语、汽车电器、汽车维修工程、汽车测试技术、汽车构造等课程，主讲的“汽车维修工程”被评为省级精品课程。
　　主持省基金项目4项，市厅级项目4项，包括省基金重点项目“基于GPS的汽车稳定性控制系统研究”，省基金项目“汽车智能电子节气门控制系统研究”，省基金项目“主动转向与差动制动集成控制系统研究”等。
　　科研项目获省科技进步三等奖1项，省高校科学技术进步1等奖1项，2等奖三项。译著《现代汽车设计概论》获中国石油与化工学会科技图书二等奖。主持的科研项目《基于GPS的汽车道路系统》在部分企业推广应用。

　　《汽车工程专业英语（第2版）》是按照教育部颁布的“大学英语教学大纲”，为高等院校车辆工程、汽车服务工程、交通运输及其他相关专业学生的专业英语课程编写的教材。
　　全书共分7章，第1章为发动机基本结构和工作原理，如发动机曲柄连杆机构、配气机构、燃油系、润滑系、冷却系和排放控制等；第2章为底盘和车身的结构和原理，如离合器、手动变速器、自动变速器、万向节、差速器、车架、悬架、转向系和制动系等；第3章为汽车电器结构和原理，如点火系统、启动系统、充电系统、防抱死制动系统、空调系统、安全气囊、电动助力转向、汽车通信技术等；第4章为发动机故障诊断与修理；第5章为底盘故障诊断与修理；第6章为汽车电器故障诊断与修理；第7章为汽车保养。
